Matay's Barbershop processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Data of minors
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at mataysbarbershop20@gmail.com, and we will delete this information.

Matay's Barbershop processes your personal data for the following purposes:

How long we retain personal data
Matay's Barbershop does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Matay's Barbershop does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Matay's Barbershop remains responsible for these processing activities.
Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.
If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or your right to data portability, or if you have other questions/comments about the data processing, send a specified request to mataysbarbershop20@gmail.com.
To be sure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Matay's Barbershop will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks.
Matay's Barbershop would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
How we secure personal data
Matay's Barbershop takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at mataysbarbershop20@gmail.com. Matay's Barbershop has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
- Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
- TLS (formerly SSL)· we send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this in the address bar “https” and the padlock in the address bar.
- DKIM, SPF and DMARC· three internet standards we use to prevent you from receiving emails in our name that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
- DNSSEC· an extra layer of security (in addition to DNS) for converting a domain name into the corresponding IP address; it is provided with a digital signature. This way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
